A NOTE ABOUT COVID-19
The health and safety of our Athletes is our top priority. We are focused on taking all reasonable measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during Camp IMPACT.
We have increased our standard cleaning procedures, while adding frequency measures for things such as wiping down common touched items, classrooms and equipment. Additionally, we have taken measures to monitor and address symptomatic Athletes with protocols to isolate, respond and remove any Athlete or Staff with suspected COVID-19. You can view the complete list of measures we’re taking by scrolling down this page.
This situation continues to change daily; and as such we will adapt and adjust our protocols and procedures. We will follow the guidance provided by the CDC and local health departments in our efforts to help keep our Athletes, Staff and Families safe.
These precautions will ensure that we are addressing the situation appropriately while we continue to train and grow an Academy. We have identified several commitments for the health and safety of your Athlete that we will make at Camp IMPACT.
IT'S A TEAM EFFORTQB IMPACT is humbled to partner with a world-class organization, “The Star”, Worldwide Headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys. While the QB IMPACT staff work to monitor our Athletes and Families, The Dallas Cowboys have a medical staff on hand during each field training session to support our Athletes.
CONSTANT HAND SANITATION PROGRAMWe will have a high-percentage alcohol-based hand sanitizer available in multiple locations during Camp. Additionally, our staff are trained to encourage every Athlete to use hand sanitizer throughout the entirety of the camp.
LET'S KEEP IT CLEANEach classroom and field training session will be rigorously cleaned daily by our staff, The Marriott Hotel and The Star according to their disinfectant protocol.
LET'S CHECK THE TEMPWe will utilize infrared thermometers to scan anyone who feels ill for fever. If anyone is found to have an elevated temperature, they will be safely isolated, and their emergency contact will be notified.
LOWERING HEALTH RISKWe ask ALL participants – Athletes and Staff – to monitor their temperature prior to their arrival to Camp IMPACT each day. We’ll be partnering with families and staff to identify anyone who has had relevant exposure, symptoms and take necessary precautions.
LIMITING EXPOSUREWe will be severely limiting access of non-Camp IMPACT participants to our camp.
RAPID RESPONSEIf an illness – including COVID-19 – presents at Camp, our protocol is structured to ISOLATE, RESPOND, and REMOVE the impacted Athlete. Of course, we will be communicating closely with parents and families.
RESTED, HYDRATED AND HEALTHYRested and hydrated Athletes are healthy Athletes, so we will be reinforcing the need to rest and recharge each night

“It is imperative that each family does not bring their child to camp if anyone has been sick or feeling ill at the time. Let’s do everything in our power to maintain due diligence while still providing a safe environment for our Athletes to train and maintain a healthy lifestyle.”
